Just do like the rest of us Catholics do and engorge yourself on crawfish, shrim, and crabs. What a sacrifice…

Nothing like some warm ribs up against the ole taint.

Just eat. All this lent stuff isn’t biblical anyway.

you are supposed to make a sacrifice by fasting, eating seafood is no sacrifice, could be considered a delicacy, makes no sense.

Exactly. I can’t imagine all the suffering the Catholics did this Valentine’s Day, eating lobster instead of steak.

And the idea of getting it all out of your system by Mardi Gras checks off a few of the “7 Deadly Sins” haha

It’s ok to eat a ball park burger instead of a seafood platter.

Lent eating restrictions ranks right up there with the dumb shite we were forced to do during covid. And people just fall right in by doing what they’re told…

I never understood how some big fancy seafood dinner was “sacrificing.”

That's where you're wrong. Nobody is doing it because we are being told to (like Covid days), we do it because we chose to.

Such a brave and tough choice you have to make 5 days out of the entire year while living in a seafood mecca

Also, you “chose” to do it because you are told to. You don’t choose it for the remaining 48 fridays throughout the year

The game is at 2pm. That’s after lunch and before dinner. You don’t have to eat at the game.

My brother… You’re righteous standing before God on the Day of Judgment is based upon eating a seafood platter vs a hotdog on certain Fridays?!
