It might be just me, but he has a pissed off look every game until we get a comfortable lead and he’ll loosen up a bit with a fist-pump TD celebration. And even then, he reverts back to being pissed.

Read somewhere that a player asked if he was gonna allow a running clock because we were blowing them out so bad. Lane wanted to make it clear the plan was 100% effort and total domination until the game was over.

In his post game PC, he said that a ref asked him that. He was also asked if McNeese had to agree & he didn't know. He never did really answer the question but that "mentality" was apparently part of it. The players, at the end, were laffing & clapping so it didn't seem to an arse chewing.

He told them:
"They asked me if were going run the clock. frick that, go hang a hundred on them so they. ever want to schedule us again,"

He's trying to instill a killer instinct.

The reporter asked this and then in the press conference, Lane said a ref asked him too. It wasn't coming from the team, but that's why he called the timeout to make sure the team knew the task and to not let up.

Kiffin had already started subbing heavily in the 2nd Qtr. It is easy for a team sideline to deteriorate into complacency in a game like that.

LK is an Eddie Haskell himself so it was really good that he set the tone and expectations coming out in the 3rd.

He appeared to be chewing out #19 Martin, even after the last play of the game. Love the intensity!

Refreshing to see in contrast to Miles who would have been spooning the walk ons after mistakes and taking mercy knees in the 3rd quarter so all the Facebook moms talk about how classy he is.

kiffin is a mix of saban, carroll and spurrier and we love it!

no more once we have a blowout we run out clock on stupid handoffs like miles did.

we keep running the full offense with our 2's and 3's. they need reps.

f the other team. do not like it? then stop us like spurrier used to say.

every game we have won we have blown the other team out.

shoulda hung 52 on the faggies. we left 17 on the field.

2 dropped TDs last night by butter fingers winniw

shite has to stop

will cost us later if not fixed.

lane coached for 60 minutes just like we play for 60

If this is the case, I love it. The focus is on do your job and execute to the best of your ability and 100% effort all the time.
This is coaching and this is what he has drawn from working under Saban.
