don’t think people would have reacted as negatively at going for it, not making it, and losing as they are about punting and losing. People know who Kiffin is and wanted him to go for it. This guy ain’t Kiffin.

Kinda where I'm at. Punting was the right call if you aren't going to let them just rip you apart.

I wanted him to go for it.

Am I justified in that? Yes.

Even in hindsight? Yes.

Because with almost 2 min left, we knew what was going to happen. So go for it and end it. If don’t make, play defense and still give up tying FG.

Because we’re on the road.. we needed to form a team identity that could turn this game into a jump start to a run towards the playoffs. We needed a yard with two of the supposed best play callers in the game… The game is more than statistics…

Because here's Baker in the 2 minute drill:

OM 1st half TD
UK 1st half TD, 2nd half FG

Houston 1st half TD
OU game losing TD
Bama 1st half TD
Vandy 1st half FG (took 35 seconds)
OM 1st half TD

Not a guy I want to rely on with 2 minutes and the lead. And Kiffin is the HC and should know this if the fans do.
