LSU is just another stepping stone to Kiffen. He’ll find somewhere else to go within 5 years.

Not in the NIL world. This is Lane’s team.

How often do first year coaches win the national title, in any era?

Incorrect. We’re paying him that much to turn around the shite we’ve been seeing the past 6 years. Time will tell on if he accomplishes that.

With NIL and transfers, there is almost no grace period. I think Lane will get it turned around by year three. But, he is such a lightning rod that the seat will be scorching hot if LSU doesn't reach the playoff next year. I can't see them running the table and getting in this year. I guess they could sneak in with just a Texas or Bama loss.

Cignetti had Indiana in the playoffs in year one and he took over a dumpster fire.

In the NIL era, when you take over a program like LSU, you’re expected to contend in year one.

Any LSU fan who didn’t expect a playoff run is full of it.

His name is Will Stein, genius.

Then again, how could I possibly expect that you to not talk completely out of your arse about a subject like football when you have no idea what end of the football bat to hold. Let the adults discuss real football.

ITS YEAR 1.

THE SEC IS A MEAT GRINDER (only 1 SEC team is undefeated - Georgia).

WE OBVIOUSLY DO NOT HAVE THE HORSES YET.

This is not the Les Miles LSU era. The landscape has completely changed. The expectations of our fan base and the idiots that think they know some shite is absolutely ridiculous.

Were mistakes made - Definitely.

If you really expected a national championship this year, find something else you know nothing about to whine about - AI, quantum physics, washing cars, pumping gas, removing gum from your shoe - all Mindbenders - for YOU.

STFU

He's got to be one of the easier HCs to wipe his contract out w/a morals violation clause so LSU should at least have protection on that end.

although not the end of the world for losing to Ole Miss (good team regardless of what anyone else believes) Kentucky is another story, we were missing some big pieces, no excuse, but its facts. Finally, I know this will rustle some jimmies, but the fact remains he is still Lane Kiffin, he's not Saban ( I mention that only because he is the standard that we as fans will always hold wether we care to admit it or not) , not even in the same galaxy. Tigers will be fine, they will get there, give it some time as we wont know if LK was a mistake until he has another season of 2 here, we're all anxious
