Year 1 coach Pete Golding has more wins over top 10 teams than Kiffin has in 19 years.

Another uncomfortable fact, I’m old enough to remember that when Les Miles came in and was winning for three years so many people on this site was saying that he was winning with Sabans players. Cant have it both ways

I’m old enough to remember Mike Archer doing pretty damn well right out of the gate with the team he was left.

An actual non-skewed fact.
Golding is playing a Heisman QB that Kiffin and Weis found, that only had 1 year of eligibility but an Oxford Judge decided he knew better than the NCAA rules.
Seriously guys. Kiffin is far more responsible for Ole Miss than Golding.
Step back from the ledge and legitimately ask yourself if you’d rather have Kiffin or Golding as your coach.
Kiffin made a trash FAU into a decent team then made a perennial cellar dweller (a team who celebrates a division championship that they don’t actually have) into a contender.

Pete Golding this year is 2019 Ed Orgeron. Next year and beyond, he will be Ed every other year he was an SEC HC.

Looking at 8-4 season, at best. Right now looks like losses will come from Texas at home, Tennessee on the road and one of the other three SEC road games.

Kiffin inherited a Brian Kelly roster and had to gut dang near the entire offense. Then he had to rebuild it based on less than 1 month of evaluations. Then he had to go through a whole spring without his starting QB, even though he took the best one available at the time. Even through all that, we lost by 1 possession, made a huge comeback to tie the game when down 24-7 at HT, and had several opportunities to win on the road against a top 10 team with a Heisman finalist 24 year year old 6th year QB. Yea, Kiffin sucks

Give O a little more credit. he won the Natty year 2.5 He also did bring Burrow and Brady to Baton Rouge. I do agree Golding will fizzle out as years pass.

Wrong. Coach O was in yr 3 by ‘19 and he got Burrow. ‘19 was all Coach O.
