What about the part where Clempson isn’t really that good? I mean it can’t get much better than this for game 1 but if I’m not mistaken they missed a bowl game last year and Dabo is clearly behind the times on how to coach and develop a successful roster. I’ll be less cautious once the trip to Ole Piss is complete and results are known. Then it’s on.
Cautious optimism amidst the most fun game to watch LSU play since 2019 is my view, but I also get the side where LSU looked like the Monstars playing against the Toon Squad and it’s all balls

Regardless of how good or not good Clemson is, we just beat the ever living shite out of them.
It’s impressive to do what we did to any team.

Thats what you're supposed to do to bad team. You're not supposed to beat them by 7 or 10. You run your offense and dog walk them. Then put your backups in and let them get game experience. That way if someone goes down, they can fill in. Or next season if they're on the team they will be better prepared.

This! They might be terrible, but they are a D1 school from a Power 4 conference and LSU just broke their will last night. It was like the A&M game for us last year. Clemson couldn't move the ball, and they knew it! We will really know what this team is capable of in 2 weeks in Oxford.
