Is it wrong for me to still feel really nervous? We've had a halftime lead against these guys both the last 2 years and then we get shredded. TAMU gets the ball to start the 2nd half.

One thing that we have shown in 1st 3 games is the ability to make positive adjustments during halftime.

For all the complaints about the D, and some are legit, we are forcing Reed to throw the ball and not allowing big plays. They have to plod down the field and all they currently have to show for that is 3 points.
No special teams plays (like last year) or turnovers, and they eventually break and we pull away.

One good note for the offense. A&M has been loading the box like everyone else we’ve played. It’s limited the run game other than 1 drive.
Hitting those deep shots on the last drive is big. If A&M backs up, we should be able to run the ball effectively. If they don’t, Sam knows he can beat them over the top now.
