Negative ghost rider ! The 0 for 4 on 4th down and 2 turnovers gave them short fields . Also not on the box score but I’m certain Bamas longest play (s) from scrimmage exceeded ours !

The only truly bad series by Baker was the one immediately following when we took the lead.
That took the wind out of the sails and everyone saw the writing on the wall with it being same story, different year.

Up until the botched 3 rd down with 6 minutes to go the missed 4th down conversions were largely insignificant in terms of Bama scoring.
A lapse on defense at the end of the 3rd quarter and a lapse on a punt return did us in. The last TD was the defense in shock

the problem is far to many passing attempts far to few rushing attempts...watch Georgia and Tennessee beat bama it was right their on tape. pound the ball up the gut and bama's defense gives up in the middle by the fourth. caved in both times. you wouldn't have as many yards but likely a better chance to win....and lsu defense was doing it's part. but by passing so much you played into bama defensive strength, the secondary.
