Sam is a super talented QB, but he’s not a championship QB, yet. We know what a championship QB looks like, even if your Oline blows assignments all game. It’s not knock on him, but a QB controlling the flow of the game in an environment like this makes all the difference.

We are close, but not there yet.

He is not a super talented QB. He is a really good athlete playing QB.

He isn't super talented. Super talented QBs win that game when they put the team on their back and make the required throws to wide open players. Super talented QBs don't have multiple batted passes, overthrown or off target passes.

He’s a good athlete, not a good QB. Were you watching the same game? Did you see how many bad throws were made?

He did not play well all game, but he made plays at critical times to give us a chance. After all of that, we were just a few yards away from possibly tying the game.

He struggles to see the game (no pun intended). He needs to get better at reading the field and much better at his critical thinking skills. He makes too many bad decisions for what he is being paid. When you get paid to play, expectations go up.

Leavitt is an athlete. He's not a QB. He may never be a QB
