For starters… frick bama and I apologize for talking basketball this morning.
But I just caught game highlights of last night and this dude is gonna be the reason for our success this year. Dent is fantastic too, but Niang is one of those rare players you dont see often. He is gonna improve his offensive game over time too.
Anyways, frick bama like i said

Niang is a pro. His bball IQ is very high, and he’s relentless. This team’s success is going to run through Niang-Ruzic-Dent. Three walking double-double machines are nice to have.
Hopefully Dessert gets his feet under him soon, and Clark gets in a groove. Bashir is your sniper, and I actually like what Ugo is bringing, though he needs to play less sloppy and stop passing the ball to the other team when he’s bringing the ball down. He seems to have some “dawg” in him. Which I think Dessert needs, though I also think that’s just a trait you have or you don’t. It’s been 2 games, so it makes sense they’ll improve as a group.
I also love the rotations Wade is using. He’s doing a great job mixing the 8 contributors and keeping a solid 5 on the court at all times. And so far this team’s success looks solid offensively and defensively, which of course is partially due to the competition.
I think Niang’s defense, IQ and athleticism, Ruzic’s motor, IQ and athleticism, and Dent’s high-level D1 PG experience are what we will count on into SEC play. I can’t wait to see how they do vs Gonzaga.

Wade with NIL is going to be so dangerous. He likes to get players that fill a certain role. Its too early to call, but Niang might be our best player. That guy is an NBA guy imo. Filthy on Defense and so long and athletic that he will impact the offense in a big way as well.
