We absolutely should beat Kentucky we’re the more talented team. However, Road SEC night games aren’t easy and Kentucky can be a whacky place to play at night . Our last night sec road night game in Oxford we started off too slow. Wanna see the team come out with a business mentality. Confident lane will have the team ready

Yeah Kentucky may be flat next week after an emotional win today. But can’t take anyone lightly in the SEC.

2021 and 2007 Kentucky flashbacks are running through my head. Let’s not have either of those type of games in Lexington this time please.

This Tiger team is way different than both of those years. LSU rolls next week

My best friend’s kid is a freshman at Kentucky. He FaceTimed me for a bar tonight after they beat S. Carolina saying the bars were already starting frick you LSU chants. They’re going to be amped up to start the game. Can’t start slow like in Oxford.

Kentucky QB is not that good. Our D will rattle him. Both looked like crap at the end of regulation and I was hoping they’d luck up and get it over with so as not to run over our game. Terrible QB play.

Those were the last 2 Lexington games.

The 3 before were Bluegrass Miracle, the 2001 game where we had to score a TD with like 20 seconds left to win, and 1999 where they beat us like a drum (and DiNardo was a dead man walking anyway)

That's 5 straight games in Lexington where it was either a loss or requiring last second heroics to win. And keep in mind 2/5 of those LSU teams won the SEC and one even won the natty so it's not like it was trash teams rolling in there all the time. I'll believe this is an easy win when I see it.

Then there's Kiffin's history with Kentucky. He went 3-1 at Ole Miss vs them but the loss was the 2024 team which he had no business losing, it was his most talented Ole Miss team and a bad Kentucky team (this was their only conference win) played in Oxford, just an unacceptable loss from them. 2020 was an OT win, 2022 was a 22-19 win that I remember watching when Kentucky had Levis, and they were extremely lucky to win that game and were really outplayed the majority of it, I wanna say there was a controversial call at the end too. Last year was probably his easiest win at 30-23 but even then it was 20-20 in the 3rd quarter

Kentucky hasn't been an easy out and they'll be at home. This is this team's 2nd road game, and they lost the first one. People predicting an easy 3 TD win or something I just don't see it. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see us just come out and dominate them and win going away. I just know we're going to get Kentucky's best shot and I just want to get a win however we can personally. I don't expect it to be so easy.

It’s a good step in the direction of high level competition without having to play extremely well. I think their defense is suspect, and that we matchup well. But it is a road game. I’d expect something similar to their game against bama, close in the first half, pull away in the second. Just probably not as big of a blowout. I’d think a 2-3 score win though.
