Media love of Blake Baker

I’m so sick of hearing every talking head throw praise at Blake Baker. Every broadcast they talk about him being one of the best DC’s in the country and he just hasn’t backed it up at all. I don’t think he’s entirely to blame today but he certainly hasn’t earned his reputation.

Like I said, I don’t think Baker was the sole reason we lost today. I think Kiffin shoulders the most blame. But Blake hasn’t shown up in big games like the media portrays him.

WRONG this game was 1000% on Kiffin and his Les Miles offense. That was the most bland offense off a bye week I’ve ever seen. Zero answers to cover 3.

Man Baker wasn't the problem tonight. If Sam didn't go into squirrel brain mode under pressure and Kiffin spin a wheel for what to do on 4th down we would have controlled that 1st half at minimum

Your offense only scored 13... at home in Death Valley
A defense can be good or even great, but they can't carry or control TOP like the offense can. You held them to 10 in the first half, which is impressive considering their weapons. But then your offense didn't score again and your HC made stupid decisions putting the defense on the field a lot longer and in bad field positions.
Why is nobody talking about CWJ or Lane's offense like they are Baker?
