Probably not very good.

But they probably won't lose many games by 30+

The sec is weird this year

We play Arkansas, SC, TAMU twice. I think you legit could go 5-1 vs those teams

Home games Bama, UGA, MSU, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma. If y’all think our schedule is weak, check out Missouri’s ??. Regardless I think 4-2 is very possible

Away games Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Vandy. Auburn and Florida are hit or miss. I think you could go 2-4 in that.

I think ceiling would be 11-7 floor will be 7-11

We looked excellent tonight. The Texas teams back to back still will tell us a lot.

We have done fairly well against calapari despite our subpar teams. I think a split with them is certainly possible. I agree that we are better than A&M and SC, but A&M isn’t a doormat. I think 4-2 is reasonable if not likely.

I don’t think we fair well against bama and Kentucky. I think we are better than MSU and Oklahoma. I have no clue about Missouri, they are one team I haven’t seen play yet. I think we are about the same as Georgia. Given that it’s at home I could see us taking that one.

I don’t think we beat Auburn or Tennessee on the road. Florida is good, but if we have a big upset this year, I think it would be against Florida, but ultimately I assume this to be a loss as well. Texas seems about our level, but since it’s on the road, I’ll assume a loss. Vandy has had a light schedule but they have looked pretty good. I think they take that one. I think ole miss is a little better than us as well, and since it’s a road game I’d assume a loss here as well.

All in all I think we split with Arky, Texas A&M, and take both from SC. I also think we beat Oklahoma and MSU, and squeeze out a win vs either Georgia or Missouri. So I’ll say 7-11. But I don’t get paid for this. Anywhere from 6-10 wins seems reasonable to me.

I agree, but Ole Miss is not very good either. This team has an elite PG with some great athletes and depth. That can win lots of games, and if we are hitting 3’s and DJ is able to get into the lane to create we can definitely upset people. But again, we will learn more and more over the next 7 days

Ole miss has a good front court. Dia is a good offensive big man, and chest and Scott are pretty solid rim protectors. We can beat them if we shoot well from the perimeter, but the pick and role from the wing isn’t going to be as effective. They are certainly beatable. I just think they are going to be a problem for us on the boards. And to win we’ll have to have one of our good shooting nights

I know people have no faith in him but I heard one thing he told his players at a timeout. He’s up 30 and late in the game and he said, “This is not acceptable, they scored more in the last 4 min than the previous 12”. He was hot. There is some fire in him.

The schedule has been weak. That can’t be overlooked. But LSU has been pretty dominant against it. The second half offensively yesterday wasn’t good. Aside from that, LSU was the best team among the 4. They didn’t trail for a single second in this event

I'm going to guess 11-7 in conference. Another fun game that showed how dominant our talent can be when things go right.

Ooh, that’s probably a little bit high right now. DePaul and Drake would be at the very bottom of the SEC.

They’ve dominated bad teams. That’s not nothing, but it’s not 11 win SEC territory just yet.

The games against Texas Tech and SMU will tell us a little more

Ole Miss lost to Utah. Utah lost to Cal Poly by 7, Grand Canyon by 10, beat Weber State in OT, barely beat Sam Houston…aka Utah is not good

I know everyone thought Chest was such a loss, but he simply is not that good. He is in his 3rd year of college and if people can’t see the difference between our bigs this year vs last year then I am at a loss for words. Corey Chest is averaging 12mpg and scoring 3ppg, 4rpg, and less than a block per game. They just lost to Iowa and Utah. Chest played 9 minutes and 8 minutes and averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds…
