A QB in his second season with the same team that is a prolific passer and runner. From what I’ve seen he is clearly the best QB in the country. Most on here want to pretend LSU faced an average QB tonight. Tonight didn’t surprise me at all, we face a great college QB with a huge home field advantage.

Chambliss is good, but not Burrow!

He’s no where near as good as either of them. Hes more of a Stetson Bennett type in my eyes

I mean a guy with 6 years of experience with the competition, and getting paid, it’s almost like a professional.

He makes about 70% great throws and 30% awful throws. He's definitely beatable if you're disciplined on defense.

We were not disciplined on defense

Chambliss is nowhere near either of those two. He’s a great player, don’t get me wrong, but people are really blowing him beyond reason at this point.

Agreed
In the first half majority of the throws were so quick and perfectly placed you couldn’t defend that. Reminded me of that
And if you can’t see that you don’t know ball or wear purple glasses
Sometimes the other team makes plays as well

Quarterback play was definitely the difference in the game tonight

Joe Burrow is so much better than Gay Chambliss it’s not even funny. Delete this thread.

No shame in losing to Chambliss

But that ain’t what happened.

Tigers had a chance to beat that guy. They don’t have the men to do it.

Temu Johnny Manziel aint the answer.

No they didn't. LSU layed down on defense. And I don't mean lazy or unmotivated. I mean they were absolutely held back by the play caller tonight on defense. I'm not sure why Blake got on the plane. Lanes nephew could have lined them up in that base 4-3 front with a soft zone on the back end that everybody learned in the sixth grade. It's specifically designed to make sure there are no big plays but to allow every drive to be about a 13 play blood sucking scoring Drive unless they stop theirself with a dropped ball or penalty

I think he’s better than that. I think he’s the best QB this year, which is better than Stetson Bennett ever was

Ehhh. He doesn’t put up the gaudy numbers to be put in the same class as Burrow or Daniels. Great player but he’s not one of the greatest the game has seen

Stetson Bennett type.

Dude is so much better than Bennett.

I'd be surprised if chambliss doesn't win the Heisman.

Miami QB is the favorite in my opinion. Ole Miss is more likely to lose more games than Miami. Also is Trinidad the best qb in Mississippi? Kamario Taylor is a problem

Definitely not Burrow or Daniels, but he’s certainly better than Stetson Bennett
