This excuse is no longer applicable. He had $50,000,000 to buy the guys he wanted this year.

FIFTY MILLION DOLLARS

And that 50 mill doesnt stretch very far when youre turning over an entire roster in a rebuild in yr 1! Smh....some people just cant see that. Youre NOT going to win a title in yr 1 of a rebuild, idc how much money you have

What in the world are you talking about? Kiffin got pretty much all the guys he wanted. This is his roster. There is no more developing a roster in the nil era. What would LSU’s record be, right now, had they kept BK?

That doesn’t matter. The portal talent level wasn’t great. He still had to pay to get a half decent roster though. Just because you pay top dollar for a Kia doesn’t make it a Mercedes.

We are substantially better in year 1 with a two week ESD and two month NSD roster

Man we could very well end up with the same record this year that BK got fired for last year with an entirely new scheme and coaching and a 50mil roster.

I hope that’s not the case but this team isn’t good

The Kiffin/Glasscock strategy on transfers - from their mouths - is to spend less on more, in other words not pay the one receiver $5 million but pay 5 - 1 million each. Worked last year for Ole Miss - the year before at Ole Miss they spent more and honestly had better talent that they did last year but did not do as well. Hell, we beat that '24 team here with a team that was not as talented and I don't think that's debatable.

Kalen Deboer out coached Lane plain and simple. Lane is a great offensive mind but it’s the pressure cooker of lsu. He is probably reading this as i type and thinking what am I doing to myself, I have to blame others like ESPN for making us play a day game
