All indications are that Tenner for some damn reason is the driving force behind the LSU-SEC shite. I get Ole Miss and the gumps but why they are the driving force against us I really don’t know. Maybe someone on here knows.

What are all these indications that you are referring to? Are you implying that the SEC just does whatever Tennessee wants them to do?

It's jealous ex syndrome. The push became a coordinated effort when he went to Tennessee to pursue Leavitt and posted pics of their facilities. All things considered Knoxville might be a more vitriolic and hostile environment this year than Oxford, mainly because of class, fan culture, etc. They're less docile than liberal Ole Piss folk

Lane did go and get Leavitt while he was on a visit there. He also dumped them after one season even though it was 15 years ago.

Go back to 2001 when LSU pretty much ended Tennessee's run for a national championship by beating them in the SEC Championship game. Tenn fans were so confident they were going to destroy LSU - they brought roses to the game (if they won they were headed to the Rose Bowl to play for the National Champ). Even after a dirty hit to take out LSU's qb, Tenn and fat Fulmer still lose and the Georgia Dome floor was littered with roses after the game.

Lane left them in the middle of the night for USC and they never got over it. Pretty clear they’re still holding onto that vendetta.
