Realistically outside of experience against top ranked teams. What are we losing by giving Landon Clark a chance?
Against Clemson and Ole Miss Sam is throwing below 60% and missing wide open guys.
Landon Clark is faster than Leavitt and actually shiftier. So what do you lose in the run game? He also has a stronger arm.
Can you really say processing because Leavitt looks for his first read and takes off when he doesn't have it so what are we losing?

Clark has 1st round tools both legs and arm. Leavitt has 1st round legs and a D3 arm. If Clark ain’t scared to step up in the pocket and hit his WIDE OPEN WRs then put him the frick in

Yall are soon going to realize that yes, Leavitt is gun shy when throwing, it’s also true that the WRs are not good at all and rarely separate from average DBs

It’s amazing how many people on this board can evaluate QB talent based on last year’s highlights at Elon and mop up duty against Clempson and LA Tech.

Leavitt seems to take off no matter what. I don't think he looks at his first read sometimes

I mean our receivers aren’t great. But we’ve seen this song and dance before, a QB who can process and makes good decisions and throw on time makes receivers a lot more open.
We also have seen him just be off target by 4-5 yards multiple times a game to guys that are wide open. We don’t even need the All-22 coaching film breakdown. The missed throw to the TE at the goal line was one you expect a D3 QB to make.

Remember when everyone wanted JD benched because of the same thing. I trust Kifffen when it comes to the QB. I’m sure if Leavitt struggles next weekend Kifffen would be more comfortable bringing Clark in at home. But Leavitt is still adjusting to the speed of the SEC having not played much over the last year and no spring.

I mean unless you’re blind you can see Clark has better tools. No one said he’s going to be better.
