I heard they are red shirting Longstreet. Not sure if that was accurate or not, because of 5 for 5.

I was surprised as well, crazy we were able to get a 5 star qb to transfer and be 3rd string. It’s also crazy that we talked 2 highly recruited rbs to come back to be 3rd and 4th string, BUT by mid season due to injuries and people getting bigger roles the lineup is likely going to change up.

I think Longstreet is the long term plan but still needs some development. Ya boy at UsC ain’t nearly as good as people thought at handling these guys.

Right. I just thought about that right as I was posting, so I agree, no reason.

Welp, I don't know. I figured he would be the 2nd QB.

Interesting.

I think the competition between Longstreet and Landon Clark has been really close, so it’s not shocking I guess.

Maybe extreme caution. Make sure SL10 and HL8 stay healthy…. Or see what Clarke does under the bright lights given he came from Elon.

Sometimes the guy who spells the starter in the game and the guy who starts if the starter goes down is different.

I would presume Clark comes in for mop up duty but if Leavitt has to miss a game, Longstreet starts with a gameplan more suited to him

Either way Clark is playing well earning his spot.

Might be a minor injury for Longstreet. No reason aggravating something in mop up duty. I like that Lane is developing QB depth. Kelly played Nuss way too long in easy games.
