Has Baker ever gotten a big stop against a good team?

Yes, dude is an above average DC especially when he’s playing with house money and the offensive side of the ball is stalling. But every single time over the past 3 seasons when we’ve had a chance to put the clamps down against a decent team the dude chokes his arse off.

No. Blake Baker is a fricking dud.
And I’ll say it again:
I believe Blake Baker has someone live betting LSU games. If LSU goes up his anonymous bettor places a next drive TD bet for the opposing team. It’s too consistent to be random.

His D had several big stops tonight that the offense did jack shite with. I’ll be the first to say that Baker leaves a lot to be desired but if the offense only halfway steps on their own dicks tonight this board looks a lot different. He got hung out to dry several times tonight when the O had a chance to come in take over the momentum after a defensive series but they just couldn’t do it. Baker and his side of the ball definitely are due some criticism their way tonight but stop trying to hang all this on him man got damn.

Yeah but the one time we did score he gives up a TD in 5 plays. How many times has that happened over the past 3 years?? Way too much for 3.5 mil a year.
