Had Lane gone for 4th and 1 I would feel a lot better regardless of outcome

LSU hired him because he’s a riverboat gambler. Tonight he was a chickenshit. Baker needs to go. We will never win a championship with Baker here.

He has been since he got here. I don’t understand it. He’s going against his nature. He’s been super aggressive until he got here. Why would you not go for that 4th and 1? Your defense couldn’t be relied on to close out the game. That was a terrible call and so opposite of who he is. If he’s at Ole Miss; he goes for that

I think if Leavitt wasn't such an unpredictable retard, we would see Lane go for it quite a bit.

Lane was a coward in this game. I was saying over and over again that we were leaving entirely too much time with only a three point lead if we punted there. We had to go for it, and this was supposed to be what Lane is all about. Instead, we had to sit there and watch him act like every other coach we've had for the last 20 plus years, and punt the ball, and the game, away.

What a lousy effort this was against a crap team. This the is the kind of crap loss that Lane manages to have every year of his career, it seems, but was supposed to be "fixed" with better talent at LSU. I'm not impressed.

And yeah, I'm upset, and still processing the disappointment. But this isn't a prisoner of the moment feeling I have. This season already feels like a failure.

I'd rather lose the game being aggressive trying to win it than giving them the ball back in that situation

if you can't get 1 yard you don't deserve to win

We come up with monikers like 3rd and Chavis for terrible defenses what do we call this? Baked Baker? The Red Sea defense because it’ll part in the clutch?

We were getting 4 yards/touch. QB has little to do with it.
