Again, EJECTION of targeting is such a bad rule

At least make it a 2nd targeting in a game ejection. It’s so fricking stupid disqualifying a player completely from a split moment mistake

I wouldn't mind seeing ejection for current quarter and following quarter of the game. Does not carry over to next game though.
So 1st quarter penalty, you can come back in second half.

The only way to make it happen less is excessive penalties for it. They changed the rule to not sit out next game if it’s in second half tho. That was obvious and you have to teach that person a lesson.

It’s dangerous yeah. But more players are injured and leave the game from a shot to the head. It’s also worse on long term. I don’t see where you think a horse collar is worse than a shot to the head.

Knees are torn constantly. Huge deal. Bottom line is it’s just an arbitrary consequence that is far too harsh. People don’t even get ejected for a shove punch to head in a fight
