You’re really saying this about a district that John Curtis is in

can assure you that the catholic schhols aren't who they are because of sports.
Curtis is not a Catholic school and was just added to the district recently for athletic reasons (Like Karr)

Patrick Mullins left a semester early to play soccer at Maryland. He was able to get a diploma.

From my understanding he secretly took some courses and tried to strong arm St. Aug into letting him graduate early, St. Aug was willing to do that but he could not get a St. Aug diploma and the cherry on top was the handler dude wanted him to have no classes in the afternoon so he can go workout with a trainer.

have no idea, but they do have really nice facilities. It’s like a college campus with all the support the kids have.

That gets made up for by their people being the worst, judging by their defenders on Facebook comments

Jesuit is not perfect but Catholic formation and academics are the priority there. It was founded in 1847 and the alumni are extremely loyal and I don’t think they care if an athlete leaves for IMG. The school will survive

Thats the part I found funny about the "keeping up with your peers" take on NIL. Jesuit doesn't give af if they lose top atheltes over NIL. It sucks as a former athlete but they really don't care if they win much in sports. They view themsleves as an academic institution that also fields some sports teams.

100 % agree with this. In addition , the alumni base and current students don't really care if any particular team wins. Academics first and that has always been the case.

I do not care where you play at if you are good enough the colleges will find you. Also if you are good enough you will get to the next level. All of these people telling these kids do this and do that are crazy. Just like kids specializing at young ages playing one sport helps the other. If you don’t believe listen to Flying Coach with Pete Carroll, Steve Kerr, and Dave Roberts they will put all of these so called great one sport coaches in their place.

I was told that the University of Texas was behind this.

If I lost a star player to another HS due to a college teams' recruitment. No representative of that team would ever be allowed on campus again.

I'm an alumn and I care about being competetive in sports but I feel like I'm the minority.

I think Jesuit produces a little more than that

Foster Moreau, Deion Jones, Tanner Lee…

Not the best but not a school you want to piss off either

I’m biased. Cousin went there, Tucker coached there, and f Holy Cross

Yeah I was just joking. I went there so I’m biased as well. I’m sure they’ve had some other guys go to like McNeese or Nicholls too which is basically D1.
