Zachary Evans running style reminds me of Leonard Fournette.

A very strong and powerful runner who doesn't appear very fast but is in the down side of the hole and at LB level much quicker than expected. He is deceptively fast. He just flicks arm tacklers off of him like mosquitoes. His change of direction is very fluid with no wasted energy and is very aggressive north and south.
What do you think our chances are of landing this kid? He's good.

Probably small since we signed the best RB in the nation this year but you never know

Yeah he looks like a damn good back. Wouldn’t be mad about signing him at all

A&M favorites right now. Early it was us and Texas, but it looks like it will be a Texas, and A&M battle till the end.

Negative. He didn't show up to a scheduled visit in College Station a week or two ago. He's absolutely a Texas lean at the moment, but, yes, it will be a Texas v TAMU battle.

I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t go to a&m. Jimbo has a great track record with tailbacks and playing in the SEC is a big selling point. Texas will have to look much improved on offense this year for him to go there. Ashaad Clayton is much more likely for us.

Is it because we got emery and Davis this cycle that your feeling Texas and A&M? I know we were an early favorite but with Chaisson an Monroe hopefully they are in his ear

Lacks the power and speed that LF possessed. He's a good back, and I'd rather him go to Texas over Aggies. I like John Emery's film more. He'll be better than Evans.

Yes Emery and Davis is the reason. Ashad Clayton was even about to commit to us but didn’t after we got Emery. I still think we land him, but it’s the reason. Jimbo and Herman already been in his ear about us landing Emery and Davis.

I'll be happy with Ashaad Clayton next year. Evans or Kendall Milton would be a huge bonus though.

Agreed. Not much to dislike in his film

He is like a weird cross between Emery and Fournette. He can have power but what makes him special is his ability to juke, cut, and his vision. He is more of a mental runner than Fournette with obviously less power.

We signed guice the year after signing the number one running back.

Well if Evans was born and raised in Baton Rouge and grew up an LSU fan your statement might be relevant.

Yea LSU has no ties to Houston. Good point. Yep he’s gone

If he doesn't decide to come to LSU then I'd rather see him in another conference.
