Not unexpected here...he ain't leaving Starkville when dust settles. Save the $$$ and don't waste time there. Willie Gay comes to mind, Leo Lewis is another from MS.

I thought the University of LSU was founded by Ego Ferguson in 2010

That isn't why he decommitted. Things changed, we don't have room.

Fournette didn’t say “University of LSU”, he said “University of... The Boot, baby. LSU”.

And yes, he was trolling bama (and Tiger fans )

with seven to go as of now it looks like:

Sospher, Lee, Palmer, Emery, and three to be named later.

One or two on the board better decide quickly or there won't be room.

This was a numbers move. The staff told him to look elsewhere. He ran like a 5.2 40 at camp.

The staff wanted to reevaluate him at the camp and that's why the coaches spent a lot of time with him. Good kid and he really wanted to stay in this recruiting class

Yeah I can totally see that first Tuesday in February , at 11 pm when O gets a text from Sopsher

“Coach I have made my decision, I am committing to LSU”

O : “oh, sorry Ishmael, the class is all full.”

He has very legit interest in coming but in the end I just think he has too many birds chirping different songs around him and not enough singing ours.. had we been all over him from the start or made him a serious target through the whole process we’d be in a way better spot but with that not being the case we are currently behind a couple teams. I see him taking an OV tho for sure barring a commitment to someone else before it happens. But if he does make it the staff will have a great chance to persuade him into coming! He is well aware of what comes with being apart of LSU’s defense and the success we have putting guys into the league

Many of you on here are the ones that caused this. You should be ashamed of discouraging these young men from pursuing their dreams.

Can you elaborate on how people on a message board had an affect on the coaching staff's evaluation of a player?

While I don't see how this applies here, I do agree that people get pretty ugly about where a young man chooses to attend college.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? My post clearly says Sopsher is in along with Palmer, Lee and Emery. The other three spots remain open. Those are the ones others need to move on.

You have no clue what you're talking about, coaches parted ways with this kid weeks ago after the camp performance.
