Do you guys think us playing them with the fans we brought to NC had a big influence on These guys signing with us? I most certainly believe it did m, especially on the road. Being former national champs didn’t hurt ether, but them being able to experience the LSU culture I’d say made the Tigers! Here’s to a great LSU career for these guys!

It also helped that we saw them up close and were able to jump on them in the portal, where as other schools weren’t as familiar

Maybe a little, i think the cache of the brand helped more

100% it did. Yeah we saw their talent but they also saw that they would be committing to a passionate fan base that will drive them to compete beyond the level of themselves.

Only one committed as of now. Zach Cowan.

LSU is at the pinnacle of college baseball.
LSU has no returning starters. LSU offered, what not give it a shot.
I think that is probably the extent of it.
Now the fact that Jay was able to see him pitch, certainly helped Jay to extend the offer.

Maybe it was the "Here we go Terriers, Here we go!" that made them not wanna stay.

It’s funny that you don’t. Pretty obvious you haven’t played a competitive sport in your life. The aura of LSU baseball is that no matter where you go, you will be backed by a legion of purple and gold. I didn’t make this up, the players themselves tell you.

Yep. Didn't question that.

I bet you played, but you just really really sucked at whatever sport you played.

its interesting how frequently this argument is used in this forum. "you disagree with my analysis? well I played in high school, ****!"

I rarely use that line man. But it is relevant when someone doesn't believe that Paul Skenes or Cowan didn't look out into the crowd at some point in their games and say man this is awesome. Then by happenstance chose to play for them within days or weeks of playing them.

THIS 1000%. The two most childish and ignorant responses on this forum are:
1) essentially "you are questioning a coaches decision or a poster's opinion....what sport did you play"
2) the one word reply of "retarded"
When I see either of these responses as you hinted at, you KNOW that these posters have absolutely nothing of worth to say. They are just FULL BLOWN ASSHOLES!

Get over yourself immediately, fk stick. Your analysis sucks balls.
