Tough to get high quality player coming out of spring. Likely due to slotted as a backup going into the summer depth chart and discussions. If it's an elite program, could be nice opening for talent rich uga, bama, oh st type kids.
Imagine be rare for a kid to leave in the spring, when had the ability to just 4-5 months prior.

Those scenarios were not mutually exclusive. There will be enough to get the players they want no matter the route,

Hopefully these countless Bussey threads will soon come to an end. This is my last post on the subject. I think he handled his situation with class from what I could tell. He didn't tease fanbases, never decommitted, didn't sign in Dec IMO because he didn't know the coaching staff, etc. He did get a ridiculous amount of attention but understandable since almost everyone signed in Dec, is a 5*, and LSU happened to be involved. Just another reason why I love the early signing period! 
LSU has plenty of secondary guys so time to move on IMO. I hope there is a lot of discussion about possible impact players in the portal in May, especially at DT and maybe 1 more "nice to have" CB. Another interesting situation to watch is the LSU roster which is several players over the limit based upon current numbers and must be remedied by the fall. In other words, which 5 or 6 players will be leaving to meet the 85 number.

Fair point - Jimbo was 45/25 over 6 seasons and the interim went 1-2 after the firing.
So, 46-27 for the Fisher "years", divided by 6 is a little under 8 wins and 4.5 losses. Arguably 7&5 is more accurate, particularly as Jimbo's first season was his best full season and COVID skewed things in 2020.
