Wish LSU could increase the number of early enrollees.

I hope in the future that LSU can bring in more early enrollees, especially in the case of the very best players who will probably only be here three years. I think it is a trememdous advantage for any recruiting class. The spring conditioning program and spring practices gives them a nice head start to the playing field, possibly making them productive as true freshmen, at the very least improving our depth for the coming year. Obviously, it also gives them a chance to get acclimated to the academics and campus life in general, and living away from home.

They had 2 more spots for EEs in this class, they were saving spots for Akers and Moses.

They have no control over that. It would be foolish to go after someone because he may be an early enrollee.

I didn't say that LSU should favor early enrollees or that early enrollment should be a primary consideration. I just wish that more of those that we need and want could enroll early.

Some schools don't allow students to graduate early

This has been one of the problems with LSU. Less Miles created this 3 and out culture. LSU seems to always field a team of young talent. On the other hand Bama gets kids to stay for their senior years. That extra year is huge.

No they haven't. What was reported was the coaches at their convention approving making the recommendation for an early signing period (and other things). The coaches don't make the rules.

It's getting better. 3 years ago guys like Frank Herron, DJ Chark, and john battle were leaving early.

Assuming Orgeron has success on the field then I think we're going to see a lot more juniors come back for their senior year. He's the kind of guy kids will sacrifice for.

Now if he can't win then they'll bolt but if they have faith that he'll have success then they'll stick around unless they're very high draft picks.

I'm starting to warm up to the idea of Coach O being head coach. He's done nothing but make good moves since he was named Head Coach. Just hope and translates to the field

Adams and LF are 1st rounders. Don't blame them one bit. Dupre and Godcheux is another story but I wish them the best.
