I wasn't saying that they weren't. Shemar asked for a big bag early in the summer and LSU didn't throw it. Do you not remember LSU was his leader then after the visit immediately dropped out

At some point does the NIL weaken college football as far as producing NFL players? If your making all this money in college are you as motivated to work your arse off in hopes of maybe getting drafted. I cant see how the NIL doesnt hurt college football and the recruiting part isnt even what I am worried about.

because you know Prime won't be there much longer.

Then they can just transfer out and follow him to FSU.

lived in Jackson. It's a cesspool, and even worse than it was when I lived there. Jackson State is dirt poor, the facilities are terrible, and the violent crime is through the roof. Not to mention no one goes to the football games
Why the downvotes? Is he wrong?

In the long run how does this help these players going to JSU? Sure you might make some money with the NIL deal but the competition at that level is piss poor and how do you show the NFL that you are ready for the next level?

Another idiotic comment.

Do you know there are a lot of players in the NFL come from smaller schools? If you have the talent, they will find you.

Wait................what?
You sir are a moron.

JSU has led in attendance in FCS for a number of years. This season, they're averaging over 40K per game and have had two games well over 50K. Bruh, do you even do ANY research, or you're just a hater?

JState is on TV every week. And with their success this season along with adding the #1 player in the country, they will get better time slots and networks.

And FYI: today’s player isn’t worried about their game “being on TV”.

The idiotic comments continue….

JSU games were televised on ESPN and their bowl game versus SCSU will be also televised.

I stand corrected. I don't remember very many people going to the games when I lived there, but that was 10 years ago.

The rest, however, is absolutely true. Jackson is a miserable place to live.

Concordia-St. Paul, UMass, Charleston, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State, Central Missouri, Miami (OH), Marshall, Central Arkansas, Wisconsin-Whitewater all had players drafted to the NFL just last year.

All the transfers they had it took a last second td to beat Southern. Southern is getting 800 million dollar campus renovation. Football is getting new facilities and a indoor practice facility

LOL! Jackson and Baton Rouge are almost identical, yet kids should come to LSU?

So on average they are beating LSU in actual attendance.

Yep. Deion plus money levels the playing field for sure. Used to be only schools like Bama could pay. Now money is more equal.
