Bama pulled three in ‘17.

With the talent in La being so high in ‘19, assuming they land 3-5 is very realistic. I wouldn’t consider that a pessimistic projection at all.

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal either, especially considering the WR’s we signed this year. We should be fine signing 2-3 receivers next year with QB, DB, OL, and RB being much bigger needs.

Then why don't you blame Aranda? O gets blamed for everything bad. The other coaches get credit for everything good. Aranda's D gave up 17 points to Troy in 18 minutes, not O's. Snowflake tactics.

But not from someone saying blame somebody else but the head coach.

Nick Saban coaches at Bama, Ed Orgeron coaches at LSU. Alabama has won five national championships in nine years. LSU hasn't even competed for a division championship since 2011.

It frustrates me as much as anyone, but until we beat them and win something, why should these kids choose LSU over Bama? These kids have grown up watching Bama win national titles while LSU plays for third or fourth place in our division.

Instead of succumbing to the Amite area Bama scum we need to do something about it, that’s the most frustrating part..fight back at some point

kids today are afraid of competition. so they would rather go and sit on the bench at Bama. everybody gets a trophy.

But LSU doesn't get a trophy at all. Bama has had more people drafted than anyone else and they win championships regularly. What is not to like? The great players are not sitting the bench there. Some may wait their turn, but they still get drafted and win a championship at some point. I hate Bama as much as anyone, but pretending like these aren't facts will not change anything. They have plenty of competition there, just on their own team. The reason they have 5 stars stacked on top of 5 stars, is because they are not afraid of competition. I am sour about it all too, but it is hard to defend LSU when people like Orgeron/ Ensminger are hired to run the show.

It's crazy to think but the current recruiting class was 7 when LSU won their last NC.

To me it seems like not that long ago but that's the reality.

No matter how people want to debate it, or deny it, etc...that is where it starts. Beating Bama. Yep it is only one game, but it is the game to put this program back on a positive glideslope across recruiting, national attention, competing for conference championships, CFB POs, etc.

As long as slick nick the prick has all the advantages of the SEC office and Emmerit is president of the NCAA, LSU and every other school will struggle to out recruit and beat the gumps. Why would kids from Miami choose bama over Miami or why would a kid from LA choose them over USC? What was it 3 or 4 years ago, we had a good team with great talent, we also had Miles and Cam. We are going through some growing pains and hopefully we'll come out of this stronger but for all you pussies who cry how we can't recruit, shut the f... up, you're not helping. Followers follow, leaders lead, I want leaders on my team. Bullies get taken down by men who aren't' afraid to be different.

I guess the good news is that Bama can only take 25 a class. That still leaves a ton of talent. And they, like all teams won't get everyone they want. Amite is an LSU town. I've had kin coaching at Amite High... Bama seems to hold a magic over certain kids. But I'm sure we will also have a very good class. Get a excellent quarterback!!!!! Winning makes everything better.
