re: Wiltfong CB's Devonta Lee to Bama

This is about money. I can’t help there anymore. If my uncle was still there this would be over now. It’s time for the Florida parish LSU alum to unite and crush this bullshite. They would not be doing this without help of football staff and locals. Who are they?

It’s time for retaliation. Time to open some investigations into high school recruiting activity in the area. Bama will typically steer kids they want to their captive coaches in junior high period. To do that they need looking local scouts. This means they are stealing kids from Covington Franklinton etc. These coaches will help. Put Amite on probation for 3 years this shite goes away. Local DA can investigate on his own under state law and has subpoena power. Convene a grand jury start looking around. Where you have Bama recruiting bed you have Money being exchanged. People have always been shady as shite around amite, but they talk too much too.

Department of Revenue can also get involved. They could have stopped bullshite in Monroe as they were actually passing Money though the dealership at one time. They ain’t paying taxes on all this money.

Typically coaches are getting 20-50k per recruit steering fee. Then of course, parents, uncles etc.

This is not hard people. Just takes a little effort. Surely we have some local friends in the Florida parishes that are attorneys, judges, law enforcement, refs, business owners etc.

This statement is a bit of an exaggeration. I am from and went to Amite, and while there are a portion of front runner Bama fans that are former players, that definitely isn’t the majority. I can tell you they were not Bama fans when they were in high school when LSU was owning up on the Tide. Maybe Some of them have beef with LSU because they didn’t offer anyone from Amite since Lester Ricard before Devonta Smith. And Amite had 3-4 kids in that timeframe that were LSU material. Reality is a lot of these kids didn’t get the exposure that these recent recruits have.

Regarding Lee, I am still well connected to some people from the area that know a lot more than anyone on this message board regarding these Tangi recruits and from what I was told they expect Lee as the most likely of the three 2019 Tangi boys to be a Tiger. From what this person thinks, Lee will probably be a Tiger, but it’s too early to tell what the other kids will do. This person (who has been heavily involved in football his whole life) also thinks Lee will be the best player of all these recruits and is better than Devonta Smith. We shall see if these things happen or not. Says Sopsher is extremely raw, but if he takes to the proper coaching he can be unstoppable.

Moral of the story: don’t let a crystal ball 1 year away from signing day ruin your day. There is a lot of ‘crootin left to be done with all these kids. There are definitely some forces in Amite (current Bama player and staff member) that will be influencing these kids to go to Bama but Amite is not a “Bama town.” There would be a lot of very happy people in that community if the good guys can keep these guys home!

The crystal ball went from being one of the best features to one of the worst in a very short period of time. Now, they actually require you to pay for a subscription to even see that stupid shite.
