Its possible to end up #1 although not likely b/c RK is not coming here.
The question is who is left and interested for that to happen?

Why did we jump to 3 on 247? That was a big jump..

Already answered, but Willis, RN, and Foster.
Skinner, Carter, Riley, those guys wont do it. I havent seen us in play with any other prospects other than the staff trying to get that safety from out west, Goodman maybe?

top 10 on every site, top 5 on some

I ask that question with the impression that we will likely miss out on RN and Foster. Pretty sure Skinner is out. Goodman may be the only one left but thats a long shot as well.

That was the point I was trying to make, #1 class is a long shot at best.
Still a great class and I am excited about it, but for those wondering, its really not going to happen without the stars aligning

Filled needs with this recruiting class. Very pleased.
I just have questions about the WRs and that is it. Hopefully AJ can be a real player for us.

No doubt, but it shows how close we really are to the top class. I think we get one of RN, Foster, Willis, T Williams. That is top 3 lock. Even if we dont, great class.

This year yes, but of course Miles is terrible and all the top guys are going to deflect like they do every year.
What are they going to be deflecting?

it was just a joke. The outrage last year was comical when we ended up with a class outside the top 15 on some sites.
Also by the way the rant is, youd think no one would want to play for Les because hes an idiot.

not trying to hijack....but the more important question would be, "what needs have we filled/not filled with this class? as of the moment, I would sure like to have some fast/bigs at wr who we know will qualify. just sayn'.

Based on what and according to what sites?
Based on the kids were gonna sign.
and the big three sites most likely will have us in the top 3

I think Nkemdiche is going to Ole Miss.
I'd love to get Willis! He'll be hard to pull from the west coast though.

There is a big gap between 9 and 10 on all the sites. No way we fall out of the top 9.
All signs point to it improving.

Depends on how many flip. Its known to happen to LSU.

I wouldn't trade LSUs class for any other. Several ranked above us always have high ranked classes but for some reason never have the talented teams we do. Bama usually does, but I noticed something about this Bama class. It's about half and half between highly ranked/highly recruited guys and much lower ranked guys with shitty offer lists. You don't see that in past Bama classes.
My theory: Saban knows he's gone by the end of next year. No reason to recruit as hard as he has been. Because of the strange formulas used to rank recruiting classes, the high ranked guys drive the rankings. So Bama's class is still ranked high. But look at some of their guys' offer lists and it's not as impressive as LSU's. we have about four guys with Ho-hum offer lists; they have about ten.

Easily one of the dumbest things I have seen on this board. But hey, if you are right, good on you.
