At this point, do you really need to ask why a player would pick Bama?

It’s self explanatory

I doubt Danny Lewis even knows who those guys are aside from probably Kelce. He just got a Bama offer 13 days ago and signed there. He’s another Louisiana Bama groupie that’s all there is to it. People are already saying that the only reason Bama even took Lewis was because he’s very close with 2023 Westgate DB Derek Williams a Top 50 guy in next years class.

They aren’t thinking. Just enamored with these deals and the sales pitch. He will regret that decision when he transfers out in a couple of years. The bright side is that we will probably end up scoring some good players in the portal come spring

It is objectively wild that he chose Alabama, for a number of factors.

Alabama clearly has a better program outlook, so, you're probably going to win more games in your career at Alabama (let's be real lol).

But nothing else about the decision makes sense. Development, coaching relationships, chance at the next level. It's crazy, all those factor LSU. I mean Kelly is known for producing elite tight ends and he was committed to Denbrock before he came to LSU.

On top of all of that, he's from LA.

This...

Bama offers guys just so they don't go to LSU. If a homegrown kid at a huge position of need didn't pick LSU after this, well then, follow the $$$

Hes tiger bait now. Time to focus on who we do have. We lost citizen and Lewis. Well let's replace them with Wheaton and the TE from UGA who may end up the portal. Replace a 4 and a 3 star with 2 5s. Upgrade.

$25,000 NIL from Bama. LSU didn't offer NIL to him.

Man how much do we really think Bama is shelling out for a 3 star tight end.

I am curious though.

If that's true he took chump change compared to what he could have possibly made if he started producing year one at LSU.

I mean at least pick Iowa or something. Do a little research on your position, which coaches use it, and get players to the league.

…or go ride the pine at Bama where you already have 9 TEs that aren’t seniors…who will never stand out amongst the 5 star receivers they have
