GTFOH yall act as if Brossette did not rush for 1000 yards in the SEC.

Both CEH and Brossette were pretty good backs. They're both more plodder than playmaker though.

It's strange too because we all thought CEH had incredible explosiveness.

Stingley mainly bc I think Davis is probably more college ready and also an elite back.

I think Emery/Davis combo will be a bigger impact though

Peterson wasn't an early enrollee. Stingley has already started practicing with the team pre-Spring. Peterson had Mallveto as his two-headed DC his first year, not Dave Aranda.

Touche!!! That is a big advantage (no sarcasm)! OMG...Mallveto...the two headed monster nightmare...LOL!

Jalen Mills started as a freshman corner. Stingley look better than Mills did coming out of high school.

That's not the "full quote" of what I said...don't set up a "straw-man" to knock me down with or quote me out of context. What I said was,

quote:

Stingley will never start his first year as a freshman at CB to the exclusion of not playing Joseph at all at CB later in the season.

And, I should have said throughout the season and all the way to the end of the season (barring injury to Fulton, Joseph, and Stingley). Meaning; they are going to rotate Joseph and Stingley at one CB spot so they can spell each other. Stingley may start at some point, but they will be spelling him with Joseph, from time to time, in almost every game...I want to be clear here.

Your posts are not insightful and lead me to believe you know nothing about LSU or football in general.

We are about to get the best CB in the country and you think he hardly plays because others on the team have locked down those spots.

Again... wake up man.

Stingley because his success won't depend on the atrocious O-Line play...

Toughest thing for, freshman RBs is pass protection assignments If Emery can handle this he will play and play a lot.

Stingley should be a corner with Joseph being the third corner Nickle guy.

Stingley. He’s going to be a Starter day 1 opposite Kris, he’ll play press man and he’s a PR day 1. I’ve been a huge proponent for John since last summer when I said I thought he was better than Noah Cain when Cain was ranked the #1 RB in the country With that said- Stingley May be the best DB prospect I’ve ever seen. Kid hs all the skills, background and attitude to leave as a legend.

Agree Stingley because he’s an elite talent and is already practicing and in the weight room. Emory and Davis will also be a huge impact. They simply can do things that Hellaire can’t do.

I'll make a bet with you of who takes the first snap on defense at CB opposite Fulton vs. GA Southern offense....my money is on Joseph.

Are you offering a cash money bet here? If so I’m in. How much?

Stingley comes in and he’s going to be better than Fulton.

You’re being ridiculous.

If you don't think Stingley is a day one starter at corner, you are out of your mind.

Yea I don't think most of us realize exactly how good Stingley is. He is the best DB in the country and highest rated we've ever gotten, but I don't think our some realize just how good. He has right now the measurables of more than half the starting corners in the NFL and from what most scouts have said his instincts and ball skills are better than his measurables. This kid is unlike anyone we've ever signed with only PP being close and Stingley is getting a huge head start by already practicing. It really is going to be awesome and fun to watch this LOCAL kid grow.

Totally wrong, not what I said or meant.

Once again, another idiot, mischaracterizing what I said and totally taking me out of context.

But, have it any damned way you want. I in no way said he would not eventually receive the majority of snaps, but he won't the first few games.

Yeah right...and when it comes time for you or me to pay-up, I'll meet you in Scotlandville, LA just like Helaire did (sarcasm).

Don't worry, I'll call and wait around for the police to arrive...
