I say emery because of the break away speed and other measurables that lacked with Brosette and CEH.

I think Emery is the key to the offense opening up. The lack of a homerun hitter in the backfield was a killer.

Stingley. He’s going to be a Starter day 1 opposite Kris, he’ll play press man and he’s a PR day 1.

I’ve been a huge proponent for John since last summer when I said I thought he was better than Noah Cain when Cain was ranked the #1 RB in the country

With that said- Stingley May be the best DB prospect I’ve ever seen. Kid hs all the skills, background and attitude to leave as a legend.

we were one of the worst teams in the country in explosive plays, which was a big reason our offense struggled at times.

That said, Stingley will have the bigger impact simply because we're much thinner at corner and he's probably going to be relied on a lot more than Emery.

Do you think Emery and stingley will be used on kick off returns? That will be awesome to see both back there on kickoffs. Pick your poison

Stingley. He'll be able to fill in opposite Fulton assuming he comes back and he'll give us a dangerous punt returner again and not just someone who can barely fair catch the ball.

I think you gotta go Stingley. Day one starter at corner and punt returner

Stingley with the CB depth.

I'm still high on Curry at RB, I think he's a better version of Brossette.

I disagree, I think Stingley will be worked in the three man rotation at CB...Fulton will start on one side and Joseph will start at the other and Stingley will rotate in with Joseph opposite Fulton's side. That will be how it goes all season regardless if Stingley is an early enroller or not/participates in Spring practice or not. Stingley will never start his first year as a freshman at CB to the exclusion of not playing Joseph at all at CB later in the season. This is because if we have an injury at CB, there will be third man in the rotation to take over full time. Depth is my reasoning. We all know we have serious depth problems regarding experienced CBs and the depth the 2019 class provides is all inexperienced true freshman. Those predicting Joseph back to Safety are not seeing the forest for the trees and are out in left field.

If Emory does not learn the offense, and he is not an early enrollee (by the way), Stingley will have more impact. However, since LSU has no other RB with a second gear and or/ is a potential "premier" RB, if he learns the offense, just as Justin Vincent did his freshman year, by the 4th or 5th game, LSU's offense could be highly explosive and give LSU the chance to beat Bama.

In summary, if Emory learns the offense enough to consistently execute his assignments, I say Emory will have the biggest impact...something LSU didn't have in 2019. Another way to look at is with Greedy at one CB, and Fulton at the other for the 2018 season, Stingley won't be much better than Fulton was in 2018...Stingley will make plenty of mistakes as all freshmen do regardless of talent level.

Stingley easy. Emery will play a lot but he's got better comp to beat. Davis in his class for instance and CEH is no slouch to sleep on. He was better than Brossette the last half of the year and not close imo. He's not gonna go quietly

I'm not sure I agree that Joseph doesn't move back to safety next year. I could easily see Joseph/Delpit at the safeties and Stingley/Fulton/Vincent as the corners.

If Joseph stays at corner, I still see him playing inside and Stingley playing outside.

I disagree with the notion that emery has better competition to beat within is position group. Emery will be better than all those running backs the day he steps on campus.

Re-watch Emory's HS highlights, he played in 5A, in the greater NO metro area...arguably one of the toughest, most highly talented districts in the country. Did you see his second gear...it's no figment of our imagination.

He is not playing in Montana, Wyoming or Maine...he is not playing in some private school district.

His second gear is what has him rated as #2 RB in the nation.

Not going to happen...sorry, but Vincent will be our nickel back...that still leaves open a spot for dime back...who is going to play that? In dime situations, that's where you use the other CB in Joseph or Stingley...

Stingley by a mile. Emery has about a 50% chance of getting a lot of carries next year. Remember he has to beat out a stud in Tyrion Davis. Stingley will start game one.

I'm going to say Stingley for 2 reasons:

1. He's going to be day 1 starter at 2 positions that he'll have a huge impact - CB & Returner

2. Tyrion Davis and CEH will still get a lot of carries IMO.

Stingley will not sit the bench.
Wake up man.
