Film looks good. Has good speed, play recognition, patience, and technique. Hope we get him.

This guy stands up his blocker, and sheds well. Motor is impressive, and jumps of the line quickly. Also, dont forget that this is juco tape, level of competition compared to high school is a step up. Whether or not it is a contingency plan, his 6'4 frame can stand another 10-15 lbs of muscle with the way he effectively moves now. Would not be upset with this pick up at all. Score on one of the other prospects and this guy, no argument here.

This guy is build like a prototypical 4-3 DE. He isn't fast enough to play OLB for us.

Here we go back to JUCO for positions of need. I say just save the spots for next years class. Juco's have not really much for LSU from what i can remember.

Did 247 definitely say it was a defensive lineman?

Is there a possibility it is Olaseni (OT)?

What happened to the QB turned LB kid that was out west? I believe he was on Cal’s roster as a QB and had been recruited by Aranda to Wisconsin out of HS.

But can any of you guys that think my comment is out of line honestly say you'd rather have this guy than the 4 top end guys we are targeting? And if the staff does miss out on all 4 guys, how can it not be viewed as a failure

The only thing that you should be concerned with is can the kid play football. You don't know this because you're busy complaining about the one's that supposedly got away.

I don't care where the player comes from. I hope that he's ready to play. If hes a plug and play that's even better. We don't have to wait for him to develop. LSU needs depth along both lines.

If you watch this guy's film, he stands up as a pass rusher, not so sure he's a direct "replacement" for the 4 DLinemen we're after. Maybe just if we have an extra spot put it to a pass rusher.

He has an offer from Adams College. That's the team the nerd hating Ogre played for. I think he played on the defensive line as well.

Vic Viramontes. Signed with UNLV. Looks like he was a backup plan in case we whiffed on some LBs.
