Yes, proactively looking to replace the player(s) we may miss on is better than being blindsided on NSD and having no plan, that is true. So kudos for trying to be prepared. But can any of you guys that think my comment is out of line honestly say you'd rather have this guy than the 4 top end guys we are targeting? And if the staff does miss out on all 4 guys, how can it not be viewed as a failure?

This kid's a buck, it appears...wouldn't be a DE for us.
He looks quick and sound, and we need more pass rushers in the class with Brooks appearing to be more of a safety.

That is him, and I thought the exact same thing.
I don't know when the pic was taken, though.
I also didn't realize he was more of a buck LB than a 3-4 DE. I wouldn't mind taking him in light of this revelation of mine. We need pass rushers, and his film looks pretty decent.

He just doesnt have much defintion by the looks of it. Watch his highlights and you can see the speed and power. I trust the coaches evaluations more than random people on a message board. Would I rather have Byron, Charles Moore, etc? Yes. But if we miss on them we NEED another guy that can play. Byron and Charles Moore both seemed like longshots to me personally.. one is committed to Bama and the other has more than one school ahead of us at the moment. Sopsher just doesnt excite me.
