They can, but they will have to sit out a year, unless they're a grad transfer.

I’m just ready for the day when LSU can and is landing those 6’6, 6’5 and 6’4 250-300Lb HS scary arse DLman again. Tough as a bull, love to hit people, can’t be moved, can get off blocks and have some real athleticism. And we have about ten we can rotate. Five for the middle and 5 for the edges. Exactly like we doing on the OL at this moment. If we can get it done for that group then LSU can get it done at DL as well. IMO it simply takes the right people recruiting that position and a real emphasis to improve that position group. I think we now have that so it’s just a matter of time now. We will see a big change soon. I’m hoping in three years we’ll have a two deep rotation and recruiting mainly from HS.
