This is classic illusory truth effect.

Yeah, but here's the thing. When we get the right coach, we put numbers of years on the Swamp.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but if you're referring to Mathews, I already said it looks like he's leaning elsewhere anyway. We already got Kamari, so we're good.

I would probably withhold excitement on future success until you see at least 2 years of Napier. He’s a pretty big gamble jumping from the sun belt to the SEC. Y’all thought Mullen was the right hire too.

Signing day is the 2nd.

Right you kept a Florida kid in state

He’ll certainly be an issue for UF.

And we've done the same in Louisiana. SEC country has always been that way.
How many battles has UF won head to head with LSU, Bama and A&M for top 5-10 LA players? THIS is what we are all talking about.

Other than geography, there is LITERALLY nothing that LSU could offer a recruit that UF couldn't
1) geography is pretty important for kids from Louisiana!
2) LSU can offer a recent national title

Have you not been paying attention to who he’s hiring? He only brought in one of the greatest recruiters of all time who happens to be an LSU/New Orleans Louisiana guy. No question the greatest recruiter LSU has ever had and he brought him back. That’s just the first person. Quarterbacks coach from Louisiana Tech. Offensive line coach from Baton Rouge. We will own Louisiana.

Lol you are so overrating how much a kid in Louisiana is going to care about the coach at ULL.
An elite recruit wouldn't even have thought about Napier or ULL.

Elite recruits don’t know what a ULL is.
They only know Napier’s name if they were interested in Florida prior.
Florida fans are really reaching with Napier and his ties/strength in Louisiana. It would be the equivalent of FAU to UF.
It is entertaining though.

Yep and the USL people are pissed at him for poaching some of their players.
