Who has Florida plucked that LSU really wanted in state recently?

Mathews has had some stupid NIL offers thrown at him by A&M and Florida, which I don't think LSU could match.

How could lsu not match florida on a top player from Louisiana?

I don't believe that for one second.

Agreed- I don’t believe for one second LSU will be outbid for Jacoby.

That may end up being the case for Perkins, but not Mathews.

TBD. But y'all offered Etienne ("He wasn't a priority!") and Matthews and Citizen haven't actually committed or signed yet.

It's admittedly silly. He's a well respected couch though.

Really wondering if the no state income tax is a big selling point, maybe it is?

Well yeah but the bad blood with how that former staff shite recruited his brother I wouldn't go to LSU either

So realistically Florida hasn't plucked anyone from Louisiana that LSU wanted since Gerald Willis? That's the point you said that Florida has plucked from LA but it's never been anyone since 2014 it looks like.

I thought you just meant Napier in this cycle, one of my favorite Gators of all time is a Louisiana native, that being Ike Hilliard.

Napier would be wise to start focusing more on Florida recruits otherwise Cristobal will wipe the floor with him.

And I hate to break this to you superstar, but National signing day will end up as follows:

Jacoby Mathews - LSU
Harold Perkins - LSU
Danny Lewis - LSU
TreVonte Citizen - LSU or Auburn
Caleb Douglas - LSU

So, let me be the first to congratulate y’all on Trevor Etienne. 1 of 6 Target y’all pursued successfully against LSU.

Looking forward to whipping yawls arse on the field in October as well

Now we're on the same page . So you believe Billy is going to come into the '23 & '24 class and cherry pick Louisiana?

it's no longer about "winning". it's about NIL deals.

hard to blame the players.

He's not at ULL though? He's at the University of Florida. Other than geography, there is LITERALLY nothing that LSU could offer a recruit that UF couldn't. Both schools "have it all" in terms of resources. And now these kids that loved Nape before, but just weren't gonna go to UL, can now play for him at a school that is exactly like LSU. Geography usually wins out though, but he's gonna be an issue.

Ohhhhhhh, sick burn, bro. But, uh, explain how that's relevant to a program's resources?

So your claim is that he made so many in roads into Louisiana with HS coaches that he's going to cherry pick from Louisiana to Florida? Just trying to get my facts straight.
