What’s going on in recruiting?

So besides the absolute free-fall in football recruiting this year, dropping from #1 all the way to 7 or 8 depending on which site you look at, how in the holy hell did we get out recruited by AllBarn?? WTF?!? Who is wanting to play there and where’s the NIL base? Secondly, since when are high school recruits excited about playing at Oregon?? I mean I get their recent success, but in what universe is a recruit excited about playing for a team with ZERO Championship history or zero ability to put quality talent in the NFL year after year? I get the Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Ohio State and even A$M, but Oregon?!? That is all. Goodnight

You probably should try to understand what goes into the numbers before making such sweeping proclamations. The rankings are interesting, but the formulas are pretty arbitrary and certainly not as precise as the websites try to make them out to be. 92.176 for Auburn and 92.138 for LSU. 3 decimal places? Seriously? Why is Auburn ahead? They signed 2 more players. That’s it. LSU had 3 5* to 1 for Auburn. They had 16 4* to 14. They didn’t outrecruit LSU. For just On3’s own ratings LSU is 7th and Auburn 10th.

To be fair, you may not have heard of this little company based in Oregon. It’s called Nike. I think they might make shoes (and other apparel). It seems to be popular with kids and teens. Their founder and President graduated from Oregon.
