I've heard S, mostly, but I've also heard WR mentioned. Either way, it would be a win win.

I read where he wants to play offense.

CB or WR. You promise him a shot at both and figure it out once he’s on campus.

He’d be a great nickel if that’s still a feature DB position in Baker’s D

I’ve heard he would prefer WR.

But his NFL future is at S or Nickel.

No clue what LSU is telling him.

Dont think that HP4 Reliaquest Bowl rushing TD was just happenstance

He's not a CB. Dont have that type of frame. Plays bigger than his size. Hes a safety, star, hydrid guy or hes a RB/WR.

This. And return punts. Playing nickel and returning punts would give him the requisite action his talent needs.

He could be an all-pro nickel/safety one day. Think Budda Baker or Tyrann.

At least at Missouri, Baker incorporated this position into his defense.

As for the OP, similar to Ju’Juan Johnson, I believe LSU has told Bussey they like him as a DB but they’ll let him try some snaps on offense as well.

I’m not sure but whatever position he wants to that’s where he should play. We just saw what happened with heard.

He's the same size as Harlem Berry, for what it's worth

You get him on campus, have him playing both WR and S, and then you slowly convince him one of them is the place for him to be

Both ways CB/S and WR. Just like Travis at Colorado.
One of these days another two way player is going to win the Heisman. Maybe it him if he is all that he is purported to be....but not at A&M.

Huh? Of all the positions you listed, CB is the smallest on average. Safeties are bigger than CBs, WRs are bigger than CBs (CBs under 6’/200 go in the 1st rd all the time, whereas that’s fairly rare for WRs. Also you don’t see any CBs at 6’4 or 6’5 (and rarely even 6’3)), RBs are heavier than CBs by probably ~20lbs on average, and the “star” or hybrid position is just a special name for the safety in certain schemes.

I think Bussey could be a real nfl prospect at either CB or safety—I think his best role would probably be something similar to what dax hill did for Michigan a couple years ago—but if you’re concerned about his size, that pushes him *towards* CB, not away from it.
