They needed portal bad. Those CU players looked like golf and tennis players. Lol Yeah portal is just a quick fix and fill holes still need to recruit HS players.

Agreed. It sucks for him to not stay home. But, 10 months is a long time to go and keep him, and I do think winning 3-5 games will still not look good. The portal has changed everything. It's one thing to miss out on 5-8 in state kids that you really want, but if you miss out on one here and there, the portal makes it where it doesn't really matter. The possibility of adding a 4 or 5 star that was in a program with college tape is now a real possibility every year.

He won’t keep doing it unless he wins quickly. If he doesn’t, they will have to overpay NIL to get good players and great ones won’t even bother.
