5* Derek Stingley
5* Elias Ricks
5* Khamauri Rogers committed next year

That’s what’s happening. Also we’re in it for 5* Mckinstry this year and stacking safeties like hot cakes.

You ever follow recruiting before?

Okay smart asses, I follow recruiting daily and have a 24/7 subscription. So tell me who we are trending for in 2021? And don't say McKinstry, as he is either AU or Bama according to most.

Now, maybe Sage Ryan is being courted a a cornerback instead of a safety, but not sure...

Before you call them smartasses, perhaps you should go reread your original post. Instead of simply asking who are some CBs we are in on, your post is dripping with drama and near-panic.

What did you think their replies were gonna read like???

Well Mr “I have a subscription to 247, heres 2 quotes from their director of football recruiting, Steve Wiltfong from less than a week ago saying otherwise.
quote:

"It depends on who you talk to," he added. "I talk to some people who say Alabama and Nick Saban are not going to let him get away. Then I talk to other people who say keep an eye on LSU, and they may lead this thing for McKinstry.

quote:

"I think LSU has put themselves in a really strong position here with what they have done in developing players at the position and the relationship they have with the staff,"

Agree with your response. Accurate without being rude.

24/7 subscription

So do I, it’s a gigantic waste of money and I’m about to cancel. Shea is in the same boat as JimmyDetails used to be- he’s so concerned with not burning bridges with his connections that he doesn’t put out any info that’s worth a shite. Everything that Shea is willing to put in print is either A. meaningless and extremely vague or B. available on Tigerdroppings.

So yea, shut the frick up about that being some kind of qualification.

Okay, sorry for whatever I did to piss off the board, but it looks like we have one top CB possibility for '21.

I'm just used to a much better outlook.

Bro, nothing has changed. You come in acting like a punk with your open and then get upset with responses. We are still DBU and we’re getting the same looks from recruits so stop worrying so much

Can you explain whats better than a bunch of 5 star cb's on the roster and coming?

And if the five stars slow down a bit did you ever think its because we are loaded and they look elsewhere so that they might be able to be a starter one day

These kids do their homework when selecting a school. They all want to play early, especially the highly rated guys. Take a look at our roster and you’ll see 6 guys who are in their 1st or 2nd year on campus.

McKinstry
Isiah Johnson
Latrell McCutchin
Ishmael Ibraheem
Sage Ryan

McKinstry and Ryan are the most realistic possibilities at this point but the others are gettable depending on how things shake out. Likely only 1-2 CB types in this class so they can be choosy .

To your point things are relatively slow and very few real possibilities for this point but numbers, good footing with top targets and the shutdown play roles in that.

Yep we could land the top safety and corner in America. Not sure what's wrong with us. Haha

Thx lsufanva. It's nice to get a response from someone who is known as an insider.

Seems like I cannot point out an obvious anomaly from past years where no matter what, we get the #1 or #2 CB even though we are loaded at the position...

What makes you think top ten = best?

Some of our past stellar CBS weren't highly rated.

All of LSU’s CBs are underclassmen. There are other needs the team has to address this cycle (OL, DL, and Safeties).
