Seems this class is more in need of DB's and wasn't he offered right after Wiggens decommitted?

Also won't Jack Bech play TE in our offense

Did you see our WR play outside of boutte? We need more weapons. We signed 4 really good dbs this cycle and all of the contributers minus 7 will be back next season.

Lester, you see nabors a better fit at which side of the ball?

Not Lester, but Nabers has big potential at either position. I think he could develop into a lockdown CB, but he’s been recruited as a WR. Basically I think he can be an all-conference WR, but an All-American DB.

Have we recruited a offensive player at a skill position and transitioned him to defense and had it ever work out? Lee, Netherly, and Kirklin never saw the field on defense....Only ones that come to mind.

Queen and Jackson did come in as athletes but definitely did start out at other positions and made the swap. Totally forgot about them and Devin originally competing on the offensive side of the ball ...Gives me some hope... Appreciate the reminder...

He doesn't have a lot of tape on defense, so its hard to say.

I think on defense he would be a safety, not a CB. That is just my opinion. He's already 195, thick lower body on a pretty chiseled frame. I think he prob outgrows CB

At WR he seems like an Early Doucet type WR. He is really good after the catch, and routinely wins jump balls vs DBs.

Had he played his Sr year, I think you would have heard much more about him nationally. Even still, this is a kid that garnered an offer from UGA as a WR. LSU probably should have offered earlier, imo.

Corey Webster was a QB in HS, started out at WR at LSU and was moved to corner where he exceled for LSU and had an excellent NFL career as a CB for the Giants.

Nabers will end up being one of the best recruits in this class.

I think he is going to be a wideout. He is powerful for his size and has strong hands

I think you put him where his talent is best suited. If that’s WR, then great. Maybe he could become a more dynamic second option next to Boutte, because Kirklin and Moore are solid but not amazing and Palmer still has very iffy hands.

If his talent is better suited to DB, then even better. He would really solidify us there.

Feel bad for the kid. Every player under Os tenure that we tried as a different position hasn't resulted in someone successful.
