I'm in a thread about a prospect we both missed out on and I responded to a comment about Texas that was way off base.
Nothing is off base you dumb dildo.
Multiple texas insiders put out articles about the trickle down effect the Simmons signing was going to have. Which at this point, has been a frickin goose egg.
You thought you had Mack. Nope.
Thought you had Wingo. Not looking like it anymore.
Hudson: Looking like TT
Bussey: Looking like 8&4
Brandon Baker: Nu uh.
Even your claim that Kobe Black committed is way off. 1. Black hasn't officially committed anywhere yet. 2. Everyone has assumed it'll be texas for months - so the Simmons decision really doesn't have any correlation. At least from an outside perspective, which is what you and I both have.
But hey, you're doin great.

It hasn't even been a week since Simmons committed and we have already landed another 5 star. Name one prospect the Texas side has said was supposed to commit right after Simmons. Sorry you got called out for making stuff up

Also we are in a great spot for both Baker and Wingo. No one has ever said they were supposed to commit to Texas soon if we got Simmons. The only player I have seen mentioned like that is.......Kobe Black.

Show me where anyone has said getting Simmons would cause other players to commit to us within four days.

I never worry about LSU finding good DBs.
Everyone loves to repeat this platitude but the fact is that we’re going on a half-decade of having a clear weakness in the secondary. We haven’t had a good secondary since 2019.
Also, do you really not realize the irony of saying you’ll never be worried about the secondary because of how stacked louisiana is with secondary prospects… in response to losing out on an elite louisiana secondary prospect?
I swear we could have a class with zero commits outside of kicker and I honest to god don’t think this board would admit that it was a bad thing. The funniest part is that anyone who calmly acknowledges even a slight negative will get a million responses like “you’re such a pussy for being worried, you can’t even handle a minor loss blah blah blah”… from dorks who are such pussies that they have to live their entire life as fans pretending that nothing has ever gone wrong lol.
I’m 100% serious when I say that there is not a single thing that could happen in recruiting that this board would admit is concerning. That’s the true mark of a pussy—when you’re so incapable of handling reality that you have to live in a fantasy land

You are way too emotional to follow recruiting.

What you should say is we haven't had good coaching since 2019 until last season.
class of 2020: 5 star Ricks, #4 safety Toles, McGlothern
2021: Sage 4/5 star, McGhee #8 CB, Davis #4 safety
2022: Welch (Kelly hits portal in 1st season)
2023: Toviano #7 CB, Kylin Jackson S, Yaites, S, Stamps CB (showing out at practice)
Since 2019 it's been more development and buy in vs talent being the issue. That will change under new management.

Man, you really hate Frank don't you? It's like your tenth post ragging on him or Kelly. Seems like you only care about the talent we don't land while ignoring the great ones we do. Take a break, bud. Everything's going to be OK.
Once you realize that a coach and his assistant coach pulled this team from 39 scholarship players up to west division champs, and there are poor souls bashing them it will make sense that anonymous SECranters make fake LSU profiles to bring you down.
Additionally, congratulations to Wardell Mack for being talented enough to get an offer to anywhere he wanted. He did it early and did not drag you to nsd.
It happens that way, just like we are happy to have Texas and Florida guys commit. …..high profile ones too.
Do not forget the best OT in NC and the best DB in Tennessee. It all starts to make sense.

According to On3 he's the #1 player in Tenn. 247 rates him way lower than the other services. If they re-rank him he'll jump up in his composite.

Wingo doesn't look like he's leaning to Texas based on what I read

We’re used to getting poached by Bama but now A&M, Texas and Florida getting in on the action

Yesh you're brand new to recruiting, no one has ever told a coach I'm coming here then went elsewhere, probably why that new CB is for a super high confidence level of 6 meanwhile Black is taking visits everywhere come fall.
Black is not committed anywhere right now. No one is a commitment unless they come out and say it publicly and end up on a verbal commit list, end of story. Silent are absolutely meaningless. Even more so when it happens supposedly and the recruit has zero intention of shutting anything down by visiting a bunch of other places over rhe coming months. 17 and 18 year olds change their mind on a whim all the time. If he was truly committed he would come out and say it, end of story.

Saban has always been ahead of the game in recruiting and don’t think for a second that he hasn’t made sure they use everything at their disposal, whether allowable or not. Jimbo called him out for his history of cheating when Saban accused A&M of buying their class.
Saban did benefit greatly from arguably the greatest in state class in Louisiana to serve as the foundation of the 2003 championship. But Saban also drew in big time players because he was a hell of a coach that proved he wouuld build championship caliber teams. Guys like Billy Napier, Jimbo, and Sark either haven’t proven anything, or have not nearly met expectations. Without changes to NIL, there will be teams willing to pay more every year, and it’s not that hard to figure out.

It’s very surprising to me that Frank Wilson let a NOLA kid leave the boot.
Frank Wilson has no control on a kid leaving the State and going where he wants! When you people say that its like Frank has kids chained down to the fence post like a dog. Some of these La. kids want to get out of Louisiana and that is their choice, they did not grow up die hard LSU fans like most of us.

Those same posters were also leading the "trust Frank" narrative when people began to question if we were in as good a postion with Mack as expected. Shea has confirmed the lack of communication to be true the past few months yet he also continued that mantra(along with no tidbits ever even leading us to believe it was happening until after the splash no show)and kept including Mack in his mocks with no basis other than "trust Frank". All now admitting the knowledge of the communication issue along with no visits since April while concurrently pumping sunshine regarding Mack and the 10/10 mantra. Knowing this now it could make one question the validity and motives of our "trusted" insiders.
I know, I know, I'm crazy, delusional and live a negative existence. None of the above is false. That $1 price tag is looking more like a gouge everyday.
