Walter Nolen drops a top 5....and we aren't in it

His top 5 is Bama, Tennessee, UGA, Michigan, and Florida. What happened? Weren't we leading or co leading for the longest time? I knkw there's been rumblings of us slipping but wow.

Sometimes things you really don’t need at the time are just too expensive. There’s still lots of meat & potatoes to spend on though.

Damn. He had 2 visits scheduled to take with us too. This is one of those that early on it seemed like we were no doubt gonna be in his top 3 and now we aren’t even in it. Recruiting is so weird

Had all that momentum early on but lost it. Negative recruiting O and his tenure and constant turnover. But we got Shead though

As long as he continues to have the idiotic handlers he decided to surround himself around, he won't come here. Maybe he'll grow a pair and realize how dumb his handlers are because why any recruit of his caliber would have Michigan in his top five is suspicious enough

It is all about the followers on social media...NIL
Of course many will drop off if/when he chooses elsewhere but it makes him look good on the numbers.

His jersey numbers seem to agree. 99% Georgia, 0% to the others. Maybe .09% to Bama.

I love a great DT/NT, but the fact is, Edge Rusher is the premium DL position in a game dominated by passing. That should be the focus for NFLSU.
QB, Edge Rusher, OT and CB are the premium positions an NFL team will routinely sell their soul for now. Nobody is giving up a package four 1st & 2nd Day picks to get in the Top 5 to get a DT.

He ain’t going to Michigan, ain’t Tennessee, so if ain’t choosing LSU what good does a Stupid Hat on the table do, this recruiting isn’t for the faint of heart or weak feelings, not LSU move on.

I’ll get destroyed for saying this but our out-of-state recruiting has left a lot to be desired this cycle.
