Fitting a RB(Fournette) got him the name, while missing on 3 of the 5 mind you. Doubt we lose Berry but if it erases this mythical aura around Frank, undeserved, it might be worth it. Guy pound for pound may be the most overrated "elite" recruiter in the country. He only has value at LSU, and it's waning. What's he ever done away from here? I blame Anthony "Freak" Johnson.

You don't like Frank. You post negative things about him all the time. its the nil era, losing Berry is not an indication of anything. It could simply be BK doesn't want to match the highest bid. Also, on a 5 star recruit, the head coach (closer) plays a big role and BK is not elite as far as we can tell. I doubt we lose Berry but Frank's role as recruiter has less value in the nil era for a 5 star recruit. The top player in alabama is going to aTm, it happens regardless of the recruiter.

So fricking stupid. Because he doesn't get everyone he wants he's overrated? Just in our current class Durham, Singleton, Atkins are not committed here without Frank

It still amazes me that people don't think NIL has everything to do with where top prospects choose to play their CFB at. Frank just landed a top RB in Texas who was once considered an Oklahoma lock. Do you really think all of these players committing to A$M, Texas, FSU, Miami etc. are doing so because they all of a sudden believe they have great programs? No. These teams have been crap the majority of their lives. We used to get 5 star and high 4 star DB and DL talent consistently. What is the BIG thing that has changed since? NILLLLLL. People have to grasp that until LSU can raise more NIL dollars that this is just how it is. LSU relies on the state producing top talent.

I don’t disagree but if we are gonna criticize Kelly for recruiting then others on the staff don’t get a pass either imo

recruits.lsu this guy just posted the a full list if anybody wants to look at it. A few possible flip candidates in there. Crown has most of them but there a few names that are a bit more under the radar.
