I am going to tell you a true story. Orgeron was going to bring in Kiffin as OC when he was at Alabama. Kiffin still coaching at Bama. Lane tells us he can get the Bama QB commit to LSU. “We can get him”. He was Tua.
Nick eventually finds out and explodes. Kiffin’s contract does not allow him ti move to an SEC school. Nick fires Lane. Now you can brlieve this “his mind was on a HC job” and all that but that’s why he was fired & took FIU job. Steve ensminger was wanting to retire but stayed on.
Those are the facts. And i love it. All’s fair in love, war and football!!!
