It’s like us wanting LF as bad as we did.

I mean this decision is a struggle?

Actually Burch is a momma's boy. He loves his momma and wants to stay close to momma. However, momma Burch knows LSU is a far better place for her son. Which is why she is pushing for him to sign with LSU.

Not if momma Burch, uncle James, or grandmother Burch have anything to do with it.

Doesn't he live virtually next door to USCe? I suspect he has probably grown up loving the school or at least rooting for them. If you love your home, this might make the decision much harder than an objective review of the situation would otherwise produce.

And never forget that high school aged males are not exactly notorious for making well reasoned decisions.

Where ever he goes, I hope he is happy and successful. Life is too short to live it on the advice of whimsical fans.

You guys need to realize the pressure he’s under to stay home. It’s not just a muschamp vs O or LSU vs S Carolina situation.

So in three years when he declares for the NFL draft is he going to demand to play for the Carolina Panthers and no one else? Time to take the training wheels off, son.

A couple things:

1.) Burch has always known where he's going, independent of the chant.
2.) If they will chant this at a bb game, this one fb recruit is really in the heads of everyone on campus. If they don't land him, they will be heartbroken.

When LSU had an average team and Bama was winning everything, I recall the kids being criticized for going to another state instead of being loyal to their home state.

He'll be worshiped on LSU's campus too. What world do you live in? LSU loves their athletes.

The first half of your post is nice. But there is nothing whimsical about being an LSU fan. It's serious business.

NOT THE SAME!

Why?

Because the Louisiana players that left especially on the OL/DL most likely were the difference between Bama winning the SEC and NC and LSU winning the SEC and an NC!
Sotuh Carolina isn't going to win the SEC East much less a NC if Burch stays...THAT's the GD difference!

Average for us was 10 wins and at times competing for the SEC but falling short of BAMA, with a couple recent National championships in our pocket and just a few plays or players away from getting back to one. That's not South Carolina.

Looks like USCe insiders thinking he's staying with them.

Mama angles seem to be killing LSU lately when they want LSU?

Somebody gets it!

I swear to God, some of these A-holes live to argue against a valid pro-LSU stance.
They come out of the wood work to defend some of LSU's most despicable opponents!

For an LSU board set up for LSU fans, it has a bizarre dynamic.

Hearing the head way we made is all but gone. SC has really showed kid the love this weekend. Let’s hope the excitement wears off before he makes one of the most important decisions in his life. Does coach O have another visit?

He already made his visit and the dead period starts tonight anyway, so after midnight, no more face to face contact until signing day.
