I know this has been discussed before, where does Beckwith project to go? And is he an OLB or DE?

I got it now! Part of the Gump sales pitch: " Commit to us and you'll move up in the rankings!!!"

Diarse has been a stud all year and drops...do they give any reasons?

He dropped after the preseason update. They haven't update yet this year, so I would expect a jump for him this time around.

I heard Farrell today on Rivals radio as I was driving home and he was asked about the Bama guys always moving up.

He said basically and kind of smugly that Bama produces tons of NFL draft picks and great players every year so it's not rivals fault that their ranks go up.

Didn't quite get what he meant because the rivals 100 itself regardless of school choices always produces NFL draft picks and great players. Was he saying that because they chose Alabama that means they "must" become NFL players?

Wow.

So his reasoning is that if a player commits to Bama, they therefore instantaneously have a better chance to play in the NFL, regardless of what happens after signing day.

That's how I took it and how it sounded to me.

So Beckwith, Rettig, Cutrer and Diarse were the only positive movers. Robinson fell out, still no Neal or Dodd.

I think it used to be. Not sure if it still is. Regardless, the site is based around selling what the people want.

Neal and/or Dodd could still end up getting their fourth star, though.

This is just dumb. Lack of sure position maybe, but kid is a total stud.

I doubt Neal gets his 4th. Rivals watched Neal destroy numerous 4 stars in multiple camps this summer and refuses to give him his 4th star.

Rivals is too caught up on potential and doesn't give due to a low down football player.

Diarse and Neal are exactly that. A football player, period. They aren't combine freaks.

If they're using lack of a sure position as a reason to keep a kid rated lower, then why do they even have the Athlete category at all?
